The Bujinkan Pembroke Pines shibu currently offers training in the classical Japanese martial art of Budo Taijutsu in Broward County, FL. We are a small, high-quality group with a focus on establishing basic technique as written in the densho (scrolls). The main instructor is Alex Valhuerdi who also instructs at the Palm Beach Bujinkan Dojo under Shidoshi Paul Fisher with whom we are affiliated.

The martial art of Budo Taijutsu is a combination of nine separate and distinct schools of Japanese self-defense once used by the warrior class of feudal Japan. The training includes unarmed combat such as striking and grappling as well as traditional weaponry such as staff, sword, and spear. Budo Taijutsu is a classical Japanese martial art and our shibu provides instruction in a traditional manner. Here, the focus is on combining correctly applied technique with proper movement to develop a powerful martial art.

Classes are currently being taught Saturday mornings. Private lessons are also available at a time and location of your choosing.

All prospective students MUST be age 18 or older.
